Burr Intermediate School Mission Statement
The Burr Intermediate School provides a safe, friendly, and academically enriching environment to enhance each students individual abilities and potential. We aim to provide all students the skills and abilities to meet the challenges of our ever changing, complex society. We strive to create a nurturing environment in which children will develop self-esteem and respect for themselves and others.
***Flag Day Ceremony Postponed***
Due to the latest weather forecast, which is calling for torrential rains and strong winds later today/tonight and a 60% chance tomorrow morning, we are rescheduling Flag Day for Monday morning June 17th.
As a reminder, students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue and
to bring in a beach towel to sit on during the celebration.
