Changing of the Guard at CHS!
As we bid adieu to Mrs. Nolan, our beloved principal who is retiring after a career that spanned more than two decades, we congratulate Mrs. Boritz who will be taking over the helm at CHS! We wish both of these fine educational leaders all the best as they both get ready to fill the pages on the next chapter of their lives.

Congratulations to the Class of 2016!
Your four years at CHS have come to an end - it seems like it just started not all that long ago. We are so thrilled to see you moving on to the next stage of your lives. You have been valuable members of the Commack Community and have often demonstrated many of traits that we and your families have tried to instill in you - Compassion, Caring, Empathy, & Drive, amongst others, all with a sense of purpose. To quote (almost completely) a song that has been a big part of your time here at CHS - "You have all come a long way since you began....Look at all the good things you have been through...continue to look at things differently - see the bigger picture...hard work forever pays." Please be sure that we'll See you Again.

We are so very proud of you! As you close the pages to this chapter of your lives and get ready to turn pages to future chapters, take every opportunity to fill the pages with as many wonderful experiences as you can. Seek out a strong support network; ask for help when it's needed and be quick to offer help whenever you can. Get involved in your new communities while never forgetting the one that you have come from.

One of the greatest innovators in recent history said these words to Stanford's graduating class in 2005 - " Your time is limited, so donít waste it living someone elseís life. Donít be trapped by dogma ó which is living with the results of other peopleís thinking. Donít let the noise of othersí opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is you graduate to begin anew...Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." Steve Jobs
