Girls Varsity Basketball Team
Vying for Their First County Championship!
  After a decisive win over Copiague, the ladies are going up against Huntington for the County Championship at Ward Melville at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, March 4th.
From Coach Conroy - "The girls would greatly appreciate  your support as they try to win the title for the first time in the district's history. Please pass the word along so we can mobilize support for these talented athletes - (a great group of kids to coach) who are representing our community with grit, skill and supreme determination."  Congratulations to the coaches and the team and best of luck!
 

Going Bald Has Never Been Cooler!
  Our 6th annual St. Baldrick's Day event is fast approaching. The support this event has gotten from the entire Commack community has been overwhelming - we raised over $100,000 last year alone! Girls Gymnastics Makes Presence Known at States!
  The entire girls team from Suffolk County was made up of 11 competitors, five of them were Commack students! The ladies were crowned NYS Team Champions and our five young ladies had stellar individual performances:
  • Amanda McNelis: 2nd place - uneven bars
  • Lauren Gomes:  3rd place - uneven bars
  • Krista Hagen:  6th place - balance beam

Additionally two CMS students also qualified for states - Jacklyn & Gillian Dolitsky

Congratulations to the ladies, their families, and their coaches for all these impressive accomplishments.

Intel Finalist Heading To DC This Week!
  Congratulation to Scott Massa on being named an Intel Science Talent Search  finalist and is traveling to Washington DC this week to compete for over $1,000,000 in awards. Read more about Scott's amazing accomplishment! Congratulations again to Scott and the entire science research team! Best of luck in DC!
