Winter 2010

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we would like to announce our membership numbers for the 2009-10 school year from the teachers and staff at Commack High School. Over 100%!!!! We as a PTA, feel honored and blessed that our teachers take such a stake in the educational and social development of our children. Not only are we excited to have the support of our teachers this year, we are most excited to know that this goal has been achieved consistently for the last 3 years!!! It is because of the partnership the parents and teachers share at the high school level that allows the accomplishments of our students to shine in their academic careers.

We would like to especially thank Mr. Keltos, our PTA Teacher Liaison and Mr. Stewart for their continued support. Their combined work in keeping the teachers and staff informed of our goals and priorities as a PTA is just another example of the teamwork we share.

What it all boils down to is simple, the children are the reason we are all here and the children are what matter.

As Winston Churchill once said, "If we are together nothing is impossible. If we are divided all will fail." Thank you to all our High School teachers for allowing us to work together for the betterment of our children.
