Commack Named a Top Community for Music Education!
Congratulations to Mr. Infante and the music department across all grade levels for once again receiving this amazing acknowledgement from the NAMM Foundation. We were one of 320 districts from across the country to be recognized. This is Commack’s seventh Best Communities for Music Education recognition as the district received this honor in 2002, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Don't miss the chance to see a great performance with Tuesday night's Pops Concert - 7 pm @ CHS. Please bring a donation of non-perishable food to help support Long Island Cares.

Boys Soccer Team Honored By Army National Guard!
The Commack Varsity Boys Soccer Team was honored on March 16 by MAXPREPS and the Army National Guard. Our NYS Champions are one of only ten (of over 10,000 high school boys soccer teams nationwide) to be honored on the MAXPREPS TOUR of CHAMPIONS! Check out some photos and a video of the ceremony.

Thank You Commack - St. Baldrick's Day Was a Huge Success!
Together we raised in excess of $82,000 to help fund childhood cancer research. Your support and generosity have made this event incredibly successful every year. There were also some very special ladies who were kind enough to have their hair cut and donated their hair to Locks of Love.

We would be remiss if we did not acknowledge the efforts of Mr. Tunick,
Mr. Revera, & Mr. Scaduto in coordinating this event. Of course, Mrs. Lenstch took quite a few fantastic photos of the event - so be sure to check them out.

2014 Yearbook Cover Recognized for Its Design & Creativity!

Congratulations to Mrs. Semple and the 2014 Crossroads staff - the 2014 cover of Crossroads Yearbook "One Forever" was chosen to be highlighted in Jostens' national 'yearbook of yearbooks' called the Look Book. Our cover was one of 150 chosen out of 3,000 nationwide submissions! This is the second year in a row that Crossroads has been selected for this very prestigious and competitive publication.

The 2014 cover was designed by Tracey Rosenlicht, Class of '14 and Emily A., who is currently a Senior.

"The Look Book is a collection of spreads and photos from outstanding yearbooks and their creative themes, cool covers, dazzling designs, relevant coverage, storytelling copy and action-packed photography.  Along with design excellence, the annually published Look Book honors the important role well-crafted yearbooks play in helping schools chronicle the experiences, stories and achievements most relevant to students and that academic year. The 2015 panel of judges, comprised of nationally recognized scholastic journalism professionals and award-winning yearbook advisers, selected the best examples of yearbook spreads and covers to make up the 344-page 2015 Look Book."
