grades 4-8.

Dear Parent/Guardian: SCOPE Education Services is pleased to announce the return of the Summer Explorations Program at Commack UFSD for our elementary students entering grades 1-6, and a Music Program for students entering grades 4-8, on a tuition basis. We are delighted to offer this program to your children, with the hope of providing them with ways to expand their learning while having fun. The Explorations Program will take place on Monday through Friday in two sessions: Session I will run from Monday, July 7 - Friday, July 18 and Session II will begin on Monday, July 21-Friday, August 1 at Sawmill Intermediate School. The program will run from 8:10 A.M. to 12:15 P.M., offering three class periods, each lasting one hour and fifteen minutes. The Summer Music Program is a 4 week program, which will meet daily from July 7-August 1, 2008, and is explained on the attached music registration form. Please note that this program will need a
minimum number of students, and a successful budget-vote outcome on Tuesday,
May 20, 2008, in order to operate. All courses will be filled on a
first-come, first served basis. Please see the attached registration
information and course selection guide. Return the completed registration
form and a check/money order made payable to SCOPE or credit card
authorization form (see attached sheet), no later than Friday, May 30th,
2008 to: Confirmation for class registration will be sent to the email address you will provide on the registration sheet.
