New Assistant Principal at Commack Middle School
Ali Glassman

The Commack School District welcomes Ali Glassman aboard as a new Assistant Principal at Commack Middle School.  Her qualifications include coordinating a middle school advisory program, developing master scheduling, leading the professional development program for teachers and staff, and expertise in technology integration in the classroom. Ali comes to us from the Middle School in the Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District, where she taught Spanish and French, developed curriculum, and was the MAP Coordinator and Student Council Advisor. She fills the position left by former assistant principal, Christina Sapienza, who left the District in July.

Ali received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Cortland and two Masters Degrees, one from SUNY Stony Brook and the second from the College of St. Rose. She also holds Education Administration Certification in both School District and School Building Leadership.  Ali lives in Huntington and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves anything outdoors and is an avid gym-goer and former collegiate gymnast. She said, “I am extremely excited to become a part of the Commack School District and I look forward to the upcoming school year.”

Anthony Davidson, Principal of Commack Middle School, added, “We sought a dedicated, caring, passionate and creative individual who would become an integral member of the Commack Middle School Family; we have found that individual and more in Ms. Glassman.”
