Social Studies

In Social Studies, most kindergarten children:

• recognize the special qualities and the uniqueness of the individual,

• understand the importance of sharing and cooperation at home and at school,

• understand and appreciate feelings,

• understand the roles of family members and school personnel,

• recognize that holidays have different origins and histories that are celebrated in different ways,

• understand that people should respect the traditions and customs of others.
