A message from the PTA President...

Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year at MSIS. We are looking forward to many exciting PTA events in the upcoming months.

Our PTA, parents and teachers combined, devote so much time and energy to help organize and implement various programs that enrich our children’s educational experience. We have a full year of Arts and Education programs planned for the students. Our PTA fundraising efforts such as our Fall Fundraisers and our Gala Night enable us to provide these wonderful programs that support and enhance the curriculum. They also help us to provide other activities for the students, such as Carnival, Sports Nights, Field Day and the Talent Show, to name a few.

I encourage all of you to get involved and stay informed by attending our monthly PTA meetings to stay informed of what is happening in our school and within the district. We need all the help we can get to provide and fund all of the events we bring to the children as well as their families. There are big jobs and small ones, but they are all important. Please help in whatever ways you can. Your children will reap the benefits and so will you.
