Teen Help Center

Welcome to the Commack Middle School  “Teen Talk Line.”  The “Teen Talk Line” is a new way for students to get important information.  The way it works is:  if you have a question that you would like to ask a counselor, all you have to do is email it to the “Teen Talk Line.” (This will not work from a computer in school.) A member of the guidance staff (a guidance counselor, a school social worker, or the school psychologist) will answer your question by the next school day.  Students can choose to remain anonymous when asking questions.

          The “
Teen Talk Line” can provide information on how to get connected to someone to talk about a problem or how to get help for yourself or a friend.  You can ask questions about school and your classes or about yourself, your family, or your friends.  You may have questions about tutoring, depression, drugs or alcohol, peer pressure, anxiety, troubles with friends, or problems with siblings.  Our counselors are prepared to answer your questions about all kinds of teenage issues.

It is very important to remember that the “Teen Talk Line” is NOT a crisis response line.  If this is a crisis, if you or someone you know is in danger and needs immediate attention, please call one of the crisis hotlines at the bottom of this page.

While all of the counselors respect the right of student privacy,
please remember that this is not a secure server.
