Welcome to a new school year at Wood Park. I would like t o extend a special welcome to all of the new parents joining the Wood Park family. Our PTA looks forward to an exciting new year.

Each year, we strive to make Wood Park the best place to learn and to grow, academically and socially. The staff sets goals to help every student make the most of each day of the school year. The PTA helps to meet these goals. With your support, we can provide special programs to enhance our children's education. Becoming a member of the Wood Park PTA helps to ensure that we will reach these goals.

We want all of our parents involved. We welcome all volunteers. If you are willing to help out, we will always find something for you to do. All of our PTA meetings are open. Our first PTA meeting will be on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 7:00 pm. Please join us and become an active participant in your child's education.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Wood Park Open House on September 22 at 7 pm. If at any time during the year you have any questions, problems or suggestions, please feel free to call or email myself or any one on the executive board.
