WELCOME TO THE WOOD PARK PTA We’re happy you have decided to get involved. The following information has been gathered to answer common questions and help you understand how things work. We’ll begin with some basic PTA information. Who’s who The Executive Committee is made up of the following: President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice President (Teacher Representative), Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Building Principal and the past PTA President, if available. All Executive Committee members must be dues paid PTA members. The Executive Board is made up of the following: All members of the Executive Committee plus chairpeople of all standing committees. All chairpersons must be dues paid members of the PTA. The General Membership is made up of the following: All dues paid members of the Wood Park PTA who are not members of the Executive Board. Where to get information Monthly PTA meetings are a great place to find out what is going on in your child’s school. You can also get information at the Commack UFSD website (www.commack.k12.ny.us) which has the calendar of events, budget information and district and school directories.
