We are proud of our continued partnership with Northwell Behavioral Health Center. Click the link below for the latest Newsletter with opportunities for our families.

Commack School District is one of the first districts in Suffolk County to be a part of the Northwell Health School Mental Health Partnership. Commack families now have access to a dedicated Behavioral Health Center which will provide timely access to mental health services including evaluations, referrals for counseling and immediate treatment. The center is exclusively available for students of partnering districts and is located at 2171 Jericho Turnpike, Suite 345, in Commack. By developing a collaborative relationship between our team at Commack and the team at Northwell Health we will be able to provide a wealth of resources for our students and their families.

Please know, these services can only be accessed with parental consent, and they are confidential and voluntary.  The Northwell School Mental Health Partnership will assist students and families by providing access to mental health assessments, referrals, and the coordination of care.  Our support staff can help families in setting up appointments, or families can reach out to Northwell on their own to schedule appointments.

Updated office hours for each day of the week are as follows:
Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

For additional information, please review the flier attached here.  This material, as well some additional information on available mental health resources, can be found on our website in our new Frequently Asked Questions section under the Students and Families tab.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact your child’s school social worker, school psychologist, school counselor, or a building administrator.
