Board of Education Informal Budget Hearing April 8 @8pm
We invite you to attend our “Informal” Budget Hearing at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 either in-person (see below) or virtually, at the Hubbs Administration Building.  The Board and the Superintendent have heard from many community groups and individuals regarding the information discussed to date at our Budget Workshops.  This is a unique opportunity for residents to speak to the Board and provide input before the Board formally adopts the 2021-2022 school budget on April 22, 2021.

In-person attendance at the meeting will be limited to 50 individuals inclusive of Board of Education members and the District personnel and contractors. The number of public participants may vary according to the number of presenters.  In the event that more people attend than we are able to accommodate, there will be an additional room to view the meeting. At the time of public participation, if you would like to comment, you may come to the conference room and wait your turn in the hall, spaced 6 feet apart.  Therefore, the public is strongly encouraged to view the meeting remotely. As authorized by Executive order No. 202.1, signed by Governor Cuomo on March 12, 2020, and as further extended by Executive Orders, the meeting will also be livestreamed so that the public will be able to view and/or listen to the meeting. For the protection of all in attendance, prior to admittance, all individuals may be subject to COVID-related temperature screenings and required to complete a COVID-related questionnaire.

Previous budget presentations are posted on the Commack website on the Budget page (the link is under District Office).
