February 25, 2021

On Wednesday afternoon (February 24), girls on the Commack High School track team were running in the neighborhood around the high school when they noticed a four-door 2007 grey Toyota Prius driving by them three or four times.  Two males in their early 20s appeared to be videotaping them. The males did not speak to the girls or stop the car. The girls were able to get a license plate number and both school security and the police were notified and are investigating further.

February 8, 2021

On Monday February 8th at 10:25 am a student who was walking to the Commack High School was asked if she needed a ride by an unknown individual. When the student reached the stop sign at the corner of Scholar Lane and Old Commack Road, an unknown individual, described as a male/Hispanic, in his 40’s, dark skinned, with curly black hair wearing a grey shirt with a beard, driving a grey pickup truck with tinted windows asked the student if she wanted a ride. The student responded "No thank you," and the unknown male then continued driving south on Old Commack Road towards Jericho Turnpike. District security was alerted, and a report was taken by the Suffolk County Police Department, 4th Precinct.
