100th Day Museum

Students at Indian Hollow Primary School annually celebrate  the 100th Day of school. Each class keeps track of the number of days that we have been in school. On the 100th day, the entire school celebrates all that we have accomplished thus far in the year. The purpose of the celebration is to build upon children's natural love and fascination of large numbers and to provide them with the opportunity to conceptualize the number 100. Students begin the day by walking through the numbers of our "100 Entrance." Throughout the day children are engaged in numerous 100 Day activities which include creating 100 Day necklaces, and counting, weighing, measuring, sorting, graphing and comparing 100's of items. A highlight of the day is our 100 Day Museum, which features projects containing 100 items made by the children and their families.
