CMS Eighth Graders Pitch In at Island Harvest Farm
Commack Middle School's National Junior Honor Society students pitched in at the Island Harvest Healthy Harvest Farm in Brentwood on Friday.
The eighth graders picked radishes and kale, weeded invasive mugwort, transplanted seedlings into pots, and washed and packaged the healthy items for use by needy families in the area.
