The district's Discovery Camp has opened at North Ridge.

On Monday morning, campers who will enter kindergarten and first grade this fall worked on art projects with the theme "My Reflective Tent."

When the tent flaps opened on the projects, campers could see their reflection.

The campers also learned about being reflective, which is one of the Commack Champion character traits.

Discovery Camp continues through Aug. 16.
