Homecoming Victory!

WHAT A DAY!
On Homecoming Saturday, the varsity football team defeated Copiague, 36-29, on a fourth-down TD reception in the final minute from quarterback Lincoln R. to receiver Mason R., then an interception by Mason to secure the win.
The dramatics came after seniors Brayden O. and Kaylee M. were crowned homecoming king and queen at halftime.
Halftime also featured a SEPTA charity race in inflatable costumes that included superintendent Dr. Jordan Cox. It also included performances the cheerleaders, Cougarettes and marching band, including the debut of Michael Jackson’s Thriller in the repertoire!
Earlier in the afternoon, cheering crowds lined the route for a parade from Burr to CHS that featured class floats and the homecoming court.
