Town of Huntington Asks Burr Third Graders for Help Designing Park
Planners for the Town of Huntington visited Burr third graders on Monday to enlist their help planning amenities at the park, which is located adjacent to the intermediate school.
The town representatives told the students about the next phase of Burr Road Park’s development, which includes adding benches, picnic tables, walking paths, an open area to play and garbage cans.
The planners asked the Burr students over the next several weeks to design where the additions will be located.
The top two designs from each class will be shared with the town representatives.
