North Ridge principal Melissa Blady recognized students who exemplified the Commack Champion trait of being a communicator during a ceremony on Monday morning.

Family members of the honorees attended the ceremony as the primary students were awarded certificates.

Blady told the attendees that being a good communicator involves listening with your ears and eyes as well as expressing feelings, wants and needs.
