World Read Aloud Day Begins with Kindergarten Read-In at Indian Hollow

Indian Hollow kindergarteners got VIP early access to the primary school on Wednesday morning for a read-in on World Read Aloud Day.
Each kindergarten class had its own mat in the gymnasium. And the kindergarten teachers rotated among the pajama-wearing classes, reading from their collections. The classics included The Princess and the Potty and Dinosaurs Love Underpants.
Principal Brian Simpson concluded the nearly hour-long event. He dedicated a reading of Because I Had A Teacher to the senior-most kindergarten teacher, Lynne Steketee.
