Commack Middle School student Demma O. recently earned a Town of Huntington Certificate of Recognition for her literary entry in the Annual Youth Writes Contest. Demma submitted an original short story centered around the theme of finding your inner power.

Her narrative explores the relationship between two characters and uses musical language to enhance the storytelling experience. The town will publish her short story and awarded her a gift card to celebrate her creative achievement. Congratulations Demma!
