Last week, students and staff at Wood Park gathered for a ten minute recess kickoff designed to promote safety, connection, and positive behavior on the playground.

The mental health team at Wood Park collaborated with the school lunch monitors to lead the session. Together, the group engaged students in interactive activities to reinforce expectations while maintaining a supportive environment.

Students participated in an icebreaker using a beach ball to build connections with peers and staff. The group reviewed essential safety guidelines and expectations.
