Sawmill students in Ms. Ballantyne and Mrs. Turner’s class turned into math investigators to solve a place value mystery! After a member of the “Petrifying Place Value Gang” snuck into the classroom and left a total number mess, students put their detective skills to work. They traveled around the “crime scene” with their recording sheets, solving place value task card problems to collect confidential clues and unmask the guilty suspect.
